Linda McMahon could become the US Secretary of Education in the cabinet of the newly elected US President Donald Trump. She has long been involved in the promotion of wrestling and was a co-founder of one of the world-famous brands of this sport.

McMahon is a well-known politician, investor and member of the US Republican Party, as The New York Times recalls.

Linda McMahon is the wife of American promoter and media magnate Vince McMahon and the mother of Stephanie McMahon, who manages the affairs of World Wrestling Entertainment, one of the largest companies in the US. She is actively involved in Republican Party politics and is running for the position of minister in the new government.

What post could McMahon take

76-year-old Linda McMahon is a major Republican donor. She is close to American politicians who play an important role in Donald Trump's staff. She has no pedagogical education or experience in education policy, but she could become the new US Secretary of Education.

In the past, McMahon headed the Small Business Administration during Donald Trump's first presidential term. She remained on good terms with the 47th US President, who appreciates the help and support of businesswomen. Linda regularly donates millions of dollars to Donald Trump's political campaigns.
