Ukraine stops one step short of the podium at the Biathlon WC

Ukrainian biathletes continue to show good results this season. This time, they came within a step of winning a medal.
The National Team of Ukraine took part in the mixed relay at the European Junior Biathlon Championships in Altenberg, Germany, Sport.ua reports.
The Ukrainians lacked less than 30 seconds to win medals. Nevertheless, the result of the National team can be called successful.
How the Ukrainian National Team performed
Ukraine entered the race in the following line-up: Serhiy Suprun, Bogdan Borkovski, Valeriia Sheihas, and Tetiana Tarasiuk.
The Ukrainians used six additional rounds of ammunition throughout the race and never went to the penalty lap.
The Polish National Team won the relay. The French took second place, and the Italian National Team took third.
As a reminder, two players of the National Team of Ukraine can join Turkish Trabzonspor.
Oleksandr Usyk and his wife visited the hospital — the reason is already known.
Arne Slott’s team has found the replacement for the top forward, who will soon leave Liverpool.
