Ukrainian biathletes "took" the podium at the Universiade
Ukraine has triumphantly completed the biathlon competitions at the Universiade. Our team topped the medal standings in this discipline.

How Ukrainian women ran the mass start
Three Ukrainian biathletes took part in the race: Oleksandra Merkushyna, Daryna Chalyk, and Liliia Steblyna.
Despite three misses, Chalik won gold. Merkushyna finished second, winning silver. That is, the Ukrainians took almost the entire podium.
Liliia Steblyna finished the race in 15th place, having made eight misses at once.
In total, Ukraine won nine biathlon medals at the Universiade, four of them gold.
