Dynamo Kyiv football player banned for six months
One of Dynamo Kyiv's players was disqualified for breach of contract. It happened because of the situation with the player's loan to Slovan.
We are talking about the forward Erik Ramirez, according to journalist Herman Garcia Grova.
What is known about Ramirez's disqualification
The footballer, who is spending the current season on loan at the Argentine Tiger, received a six-month suspension from official matches.
The decision to suspend the player was made by the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne because of Ramirez's loan to Slovan.
In the summer of 2022, Dynamo released the Venezuelan on a free loan to Slovan for one season with a buyout option.
Despite the contract, it was terminated in the winter of 2023. The forward did not attend the Slovak club's training camp.
The player decided to leave Slovan allegedly because he had not received the promised money.
In response, Slovan fined the forward and filed a lawsuit.
It is worth noting that a six-month suspension can be lifted if the player pays the club a fine and Slovan asks the court to overturn the decision.
Interestingly, Ramirez has a contract with Dynamo until the summer of 2026.
